projects

Pipe lines inspection

One of the inspection possibilities are pipe lines with the help of a thermal camera. Leaks in piping and thermal issues in structures can be found much easier and faster with the aid of a drone. The lines are captured on camera and give a clear and simple image which is easy to check. An example would be the maintenance of above ground piping in industrial areas which can be easily and quickly checked.

Time saving

Masts Inspection

Masts are often tens of meters high and difficult to reach. Inspecting the masts is a time consuming and sometimes dangerous job. An Aerinspect drone is a safe, time-saving solution. The pilot ensures a safe environment before sending the drone in the air. Using the visual camera, the mast is checked for damage or wear and tear and with the thermal camera we can check for any short circuits. Industrial buildings and terrains are also easy to check and register with our drones.

less expense

Wind Turbines Inspection

An inspection of a wind turbine can take place because of a reported deviation or problem but it can also be done on a preventative basis. In both cases it is cheaper and safer to send a drone up than sending a person up to inspect the turbine. The drones at Aerinspect can even inspect with a wind force of 5, which with a manual inspection could lead to dangerous situations. With a malfunction we can focus on the cause without having to send a maintenance crew to inspect it. A drone is not only safer, but also cost efficient and time-saving.

About Aerinspect

About Aerinspect

Our core business is to provide the industry with innovative solutions using drone technology. This allows us to conduct visual and thermal inspections with a high degree of accuracy for a fraction of the time that it normally takes. This makes inspection work that was once considered dangerous by climbing, using helicopters or other high-risk methods obsolete. Our solutions can be used in planned maintenance, but can also be deployed in an emergency.

Our Drones

Our Drones

Octocopter

Aerinspect uses the latest generation octocopter from the drone manufacturer Height Tech: the Inspector-S. Equipped with eight high-tech engines this drone can operate up to wind force 5. The Inspector-S can be deployed almost anywhere and within 5 minutes it can be in the air. By using electric motors it is silent and environmentally friendly.

All our aircrafts are controlled via a ground station and GPS/GLONAS. Our customers can follow our work via screens or even via the internet if 4G coverage is present.

Sensors

Our drones can be equipped with different sensors, depending on the required usage. For example noise measurements can be done via an ultra sound sensor and heat can be measured with FLIR, a thermal camera which can register the optimal thermal picture. Our visual camera has a powerful lens and a specially designed gimbal ensures that vibrations are automatically eliminated for a stable and smooth high quality image. An exceptional feature is that this camera has a 180 degree turnability.

Safety

Safety

Safe and certified

Aerinspect uses the Safety Management System (VMS Light) for general aviation, which is recommended by the Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT).

Safety is our priority and therefore both our pilots and our drones are fully certified.

Aerinspect is certified with the RPAS Operator Certificate (ROC), the ILT license that is required since 2015. All our pilots are in possession of the mandatory pilot license RPA-L and the Operations manual for drones. The drones are IDCA-approved, which is the highest level of quality in the field of technical inspections.

Our drones also have the Certificate of Registration in the aviation register (BVI), a No Noise certificate and Air worthiness certificate (S BVL).

All our drones meet the above requirements.

We are insured according to European Aviation standards, via a professional insurance especially for aviation and aligned with European aviation regulations. For specific missions we can extend the coverage to the USA and we will always respect the local laws.
